bought this product because on the whole the reviews are quite good. installed the device as per the manufacturers instructions (on the mains)

working well for the first week. doesn't upset our bunnies, the birds or the local cats, but we have noticed an absence of both cat and fox poo. witnessed a fox last week trying to come into the garden, triggered the alarm and left very quickly. this morning my husband found the device in the middle of the lawn with the wires chewed right through so it didn't deter a determined fox!

We used to have foxes fighting, defecating and destroying toys in our garden. We bought one of these and, except when the power lead gets pulled out by mistake, we have had no further problems. We don't have rabbits so possibly the other reviewer's temptation is just too much for the foxes but for your average suburban garden this seems to do the business. About to buy another one for the front section.

I bought this deterrent to try and stop foxes terrorising my 3 rabbits. Two weeks on and it does nothing to deter the fox. It is still invading my garden on average about twice a night. It makes no difference if the Foxwatch activates, it just carries on stalking my bunnies. :o(

I have also found that it is really difficult to select a suitable position if your garden is on a slope, or if you have any obstacles such as shrubs etc which block the line of sight for the sensor. The instructions suggest that the sensor should be 8 inches from the ground but the slope makes a big difference and 8 inches from the ground at one part of the garden is far from 8 inches in another area. I will keep persisting but I am at a loss as to what to try next!
